Tears Moist Snail Recovery Cream~

Hi everyone ! I am back after a long break :) This is my first time doing a product review so here goes !

2 months ago, I was lucky to win the TEARS Moist Snail Recovery Cream from 'The Secret Diaries'.

(check them out on facebook!) 

Tried the product for about a month and the result is impressive ! I'm a fan of Korean products by the way and this TEARS Moist Snail Recovery Cream is one of my favourite! 

Alright first things first....the important infomation I got from Korea Department Store ; 

   1) Capacity : 50ml

   2) Main ingredients : Snal mucus 88%(Mucin), adenosine, Palmatum Root Extract , Honey extract, Peach extract

   3) Product description

: Intensively provides a surge of moisture and nutrition for skin

: Moisturizes the skin, making it soft, smooth and elastic

 : Enhances moisture retention and soothes irritated skin

: The nongreasy formula gives a cooling sensation

: Ethanol free, artificial pigment free, artificial scent free, paraben free, mineral oil free.

I would apply TMSRC every night before going to sleep after washing my face with my facial wash and also after applying toner (diligently for about a month). Also i would apply this before wearing my make up. 

Verdict

1) The result starts to show after about 3-4 days 

2) Its compound is quite thick however, it is not sticky after applying on skin.

3) Absorbs into my skin pretty fast 

4) It leaves skin moisturised and soft (seriously soft !)

5) Used this as my moisturiser too !

6) Hydrate my skin , leaving it looking fresh.

7) No more touch ups (face less oily) and after a month, i use less make up 

(I used to apply concealer , Foundation & Compact powder on my face for coverage!!! )

8) MY #1 major problem : Uneven/unbalanced (or whatever you call it) skin tone (LOL but true) ... but after i applied TMSRC , my skin tone & complexion improved alot!!!

Downside : 1) It doesnt come with the lil spatula. hehe but no big deal~

                  2) 90% of the words on the box is in Hanguel (Korean writings) 

              

Anyway, here is my before T.T ......  and after~

I really think this product is amazing, even my friends told me that my skin have improved and that i have flawless skin. So I told them my secret ^^ I rarely have breakouts even if its the time of the month. It lightens my freckles on my face too ^_^ Indeed a recovery cream~

Innisfree Herb No Sebum Powder

The packaging of this product is nice, functional & practical. The only bad thing about the packaging is that the powder has a tendency to fall out of the container easily. Definitely need to be careful not to spill the powder when using this. After using this herb no sebum powder, I find that I do not need to blot as frequently as I used too. My t-zone area, especially my nose, is not that oily. The white powder is not obvious at all, after applying onto my face. There is a matt feeling after application. This product does not break me out and overall, I find that it is worth buying(:

Innisfree Cabbage Mask

This mask is thin and the shape of the mask adheres to my face well. It is also soaked in a lot of the essence, which is a good thing. After putting the mask on for 15 minutes, I am glad to see that my complexion had brightened. My skin feels smooth to touch too. I find this to be a good sheet mask and it's definitely value for money. It's good for brightening up dull & tired skin!!(:

Bought a mini size version of this product and I find that the peeling gel smells really good and does its job well without irritating my skin. There are tiny granules that dissolve when exfoliating. Overall, I like this peeling gel and will want to get it since its affordable & work well(:

The Saem Dr Beauty Laser Peel Gel

I had received a sample of this and had find this product to be good. The scent of this laser peel gel is really classy and nice. I feel that it gives off a nice feeling. It works well and exfoliates without making my sensitive skin turn red! I will consider getting this, however, the only downside is that the price of this exfoliator is much higher than normal ones..

REVIEW: VOV Volcanic Mask

VOV Volcanic Mask

This mask has an attractive packaging, however, it has a creamy texture that feels kind of 'thick' to me. When applied onto face, I feel that it is thicker and sort of "oilier" than the other masks that I have tried. Need to wash off several times due to nature of mask. Maybe this mask will be more suitable for people with dry skin as opposed to oily skin..

The skinfood goldkiwi hydrating mask is a milky-white gel-like mask.
When applied, i felt a slight tingling sensation on my cheeks. There is no redness though when i washed off the mask.

REVIEW: Baviphat Apple Mint Pore Tightening Strip

Got it through the giveaway, lol was a little shocked but thanks a billion amber. 
Superbly useful and effective, a product that doesn't look nice but does the job wonderfully. Smells weird initially but got used to the scent. Texture of the strip was thicker than the biore one and the design was not fantastic (or so i thought) but i was wrong. Super effective, could see all the blackheads and whiteheads on the strip after removal.  Would definitely buy it when my current stash of biore finishes.

My favourite mask!!(:

I was initially surprised that this mask smells really like chocolate when I first used it! It smells exactly like hot chocolate, absolutely yummy!! I apply the mask for 15 minutes each time & I experienced some slight tingling sensation for the first few times when I used the mask. Washing off is quite easy with warm water. My skin always look bright, and feels really soft and smooth after using the mask. The best part of the mask is not the smell, but the fact that it truly works for me! After using this mask for a month (once per week), my pores had shrunk a little, my skin tone had evened out & my acne scars had lightened!(: Lesser blackheads are coming out now, and my skin became really smooth..  Definitely going to repurchase this!! :D

REVIEW: It's Skin Lemonherb Fresh Up Mask Sheet

Manage to find time to do a mask yesterday! Thus decided to review an It's Skin mask sheet now! :)
I've been set my eye on this for a really long time and it has been sitting on my study desk for who knows how long. :P
So, I put it in the fridge in the morning/afternoon and used it before I slept. :) (after midnight)
I like mask sheets that gives off a simplistic and yet nice pictures. I think this was part of the reason why I was tempted to try it. The picture, it's simple, it's lemons and with a name lemon herb, it sets the right image for the whole package. (IMO)


Upon opening, I smelt a subtle lemon 'herb' smell, actually it reminds me a bit of the lemon hand wash I have at home! So, I smelt long enough to decide that it's two different things and the only similarity was because of the lemon ingredient. :)
The mask sheet smells really refreshing and a little citrus (though I was hoping that it will be even more lemon-ish)
Applied it for 20 minutes and took it off! Face looks visibly brighter and whiter. :)


Indeed, I'm glad I took the time to use it, though it wasn't much of a WOW factor or anything, I'm glad it worked well on my face- giving me a smoother and more radiant skin after use. :)


Time to try out other mask sheets/wash off/etc! :P

REVIEW: Baviphat Indi Girl Tea Tree Spot Solution

The Baviphat Indi Girl Tea Tree Spot Solution comes in a handy little container with cute decorations(: It is convenient to use as it comes with a wand.. The solution is transparent and is non-sticky after applying.

I find the spot solution mild and it does not have a strong tea tree smell (that puts people off)! I used this on small pimples, and this solution manage to shrink them a little by the next day. It works fine for small pimples, but does not really work for the larger (and more painful) types of pimple.

REVIEW: Nature Republic Aloe Vera 90% Soothing Gel

I'm liking this aloe vera gel a lot!(: It is not as thick as the usual kind of aloe vera gel, and smells like cucumber! After applying it, the gel is absorbed quickly and does not leave a sticky residue! Quite refreshing! I use this on dry areas of my skin and my skin is not as dry now.. Shall continue using this(:

REVIEW: Baviphat Dark Circle Eye Cream

I've been using this eye cream for around two months. It is white in colour (but when applied, it is transparent) and has a subtle fragrance. After applying it on, I find that it is non-greasy(: A little is needed for both eyes, so this tube will probably last me for a looooong time!

It has lightened my dark eye circles slightly, and I will continue using this to see if it lightens my dark circles further!(:

I've been using for almost a month and it has became my favourite now!(: It exfoliates gently, which is good for my sensitive skin.. No redness experienced. On top of that, it has a wonderful peach scent, which lifts my spirits every time I use it!(: I use this once every two days and it has done a great job in removing dead skin cells. My face always feels very smooth after using it!

REVIEW- Baviphat AC Therapy Sleeping Mask

I had bought this mask in travel size & it comes in a cute little apple container. This mask is sort of yellowish in colour and smells really good!(: It has a faint apple smell, quite pleasant smelling.. This mask is lightly sticky when just applied, but after awhile, the stickiness is gone. I like this mask a lot because it works well for me! I use it when there are pimples/redness on my face. The mask actually allow the redness to fade and the pimples became smaller the next morning! I was really surprised at the quick result and I will probably repurchase this in the original size in the future!(:

REVIEW- Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask & Cleansing Foam

Skin Type: Sensitive, Combination Skin

I had used the pore cleansing foam and mask for a month and I'm really happy with the results! My blackhead problem had improved and I seldom get outbreaks of pimples now.

The pore clay mask does not smell weird like how some clay mask do. It's easy to apply on the face and I leave it on for around 15 minutes. I apply more of the mask on areas prone to having blackheads (like my nose), while a thinner layer on the rest of my face. Although this is a clay mask, it does not feel dry on the skin and it also do not crack after it has dried. Washing it off requires a little more effort, I would suggest using luke-warm water to rinse the mask off.  My face feels very clean and smooth after that, and I'm happy with the overall result(: Will definitely continue using it!

The pore cleansing foam smells slightly floral (quite bad at describing smell, but it seems floral to me!), and has tiny reddish brown granules in it.. I experience a slight tightening in my cheeks after rinsing it off, but the tightening will disappear after applying toner. I use this daily to wash my face, and after a month, my blackhead problem has improved greatly! My skin has also became less oily and I've been experiencing lesser outbreaks now. I will repurchase this after I have finished my current one :D

REVIEW- Lioele Vitamin C Lemon Mask

This mask has a gel-like texture, similar to the apple-mango one. It's pretty easy to apply and i left it on for 15 minutes. Washing it off is not much of a trouble.. I find that the mask works well on me, my skin became brighter and smoother(: No redness or tightness were felt.. However, the scent of the mask is not really appealing to me. It faintly reminds me of the smell of vitamins/medicine. But, I will probably repurchase this mask because of the good after-effect :D

REVIEW: Innisfree- Herb No Sebum Powder

This pdt works wonder. It is lightly scented and does not cause any breakouts. 


My face NOW becomes oily only afer 5 hours(*USED to be horrible after 2hrs). All i need to do is to pad the powder onto my face, EVENLY, of cuz. A lil goes quite a long way. Too much would leave the face looking white. But it really helps control sebum pdtion and keeps makeup on the whole day! 


My bb cream used to come off after a few hours due to oily skin but these days it stays pretty much on till the end of the day. LOVE IT.

Review: The Lioele apple mango mask smells good! Smells faintly of mango and a bit of apple but it definitely smells yummy!!(: somehow reminds me of pudding! It has a gel-like consistency, making it quite easy to apply onto the face..  My face seems brighter and smoother after using it for 20 mins! Feels clean! Suitable for my sensitive skin as I didn't experience any redness or itchiness!(:

REVIEW: Skin Food Black Egg Pore Primmer

The primmer is 'gel'  like but it dosen't feels sticky at all . It got this really nice sweet but not that strong fragrance . 
First I rub it against my fingers and just smoothen it on the areas where my pores are visible . I find that the part that I rubbed the primmer on feels very smooth and silky like . This makes putting on my foundation easier as it just glides through my skin . I also notice that the primmer provides better coverage when applying make up on the places where my pores are visible . Skin will look flawless unless you choose to really go directly infront of the mirror and stare at your pores . Overall , I think this primmer is quite good and affordable because even though the bottle is small and only contains 25ml , all you need is a teeny weeny squeeze of the primmer every-time you want to apply your make up .

I held the mask pack near my nose to have a better smell. The acerola smells a bit like anti biotics! On the first sniff and I asked my cousin to smell and she agreed too. Good thing it was just a faint smell, if not I might have second thoughts about using it. :P

Till now, I've tried it 2 times and must say that VOV masks works just fine for me ;)

I think the first time I used it, I spammed quite abit on my face. So, I have a pretty thick layer covering the face. Felt a slight sting on the face (Not in a bad way) and went in the air con room.

Almost immediately, face felt cooling and refreshing. Stayed the same for about 20 minutes and went off to wash it. Skin felt smooth! & a little more radiant. 

Was really tired to even put any skincare product and slept straightaway.

Surprisingly, skin stayed the same even after the next day! Smooth~ 

The plus point is that, it's affordable! and have a few variations!

Will bring in some of them soon so do look out for them! ;)
